Myspace Alert - Your account has been blocked due to suspicious activity.?

I got this message in my myspace inbox today...."Alert - Your account has been blocked due to suspicious activity. If you feel it has been blocked by mistake, please Click Here"

I click on the link, they send me an e-mail with a link to change my password, click the link and it unblocks. Minutes later it blocks me again. Has this happened to anyone? What is going on?

Don't click on the link to change your password! Myspace would never send you a message with a link it in. You are probably emailing your password all over the place. And all the people who say "Talk to Tom..." You know, he really doesn't have anything to do with your problem or anyone else's for that matter. You don't really email Tom, you are emailing Myspace's support team which probably consists of a hundred or so different people so don't think that you are going to get through to Tom himself. The guy is too busy doing TV reports and going to promotional parties. Just go the the bottom of your page and click on "Contact Myspace" to ask them about it and then go to account settings and change your password there.

It will not in be in your inbox. It would be on your homepage. Change your password! The same thing happened to me.

Let them know what's going on before they block you for good thinking it's you spamming.

It happens when someone hacks into ur account and starts sending unwanted emails to now just you friends, but your firends, friends, etc.

If you are completely blocked, you can still get a new account later, but still, I know you don't want to go through all that. =(

You shouldn't get a message in you INBOX, if it's from MySpace it will be on your homepage where it says Welcome, and has your inbox, sent, bulletin space etc. Don't click on anything.

To make this stop, all you have to do is change your password. Either being from MySpace or if it's a phishing site, changing your password will fix the problem.
