Seriously, I don't get it! I mean, there are MySpace avatars and icons that say, "Unblock MySpace at(@) schools!" and stuff like that. I mean, they must be really stupid, and I didn't think that anyone was that stupid. The only reason they made school was to educate young people. And if you are texting on myspace, you aren't really learning, and you are making the teachers and school look bad. If the people asking "Why do the block myspace at school?" had a brain, they would know why, and they would know proper grammar and USE it!

myspace is dumb. i use to be on it but eventually i gave up on it.

maybe its because i'm getting older or maybe its because i could just call the people on my friends list. your school is probably just trying to protect itself from any possible scandal.

also mysace is loaded with spyware.

They probably think myspace being blocked is stupid just because they like it so much. They just love it and are upset that it isn't blocked. Really that is all it is but they have to grow up and just realise they can only do it from home.

However as for the educational thing that isn't true. if yo udon't look at profiles and talk to people you could be educated on myspace.

There is a classifieds and if people are looking for a job they can use that and some can be at the school ibrary and use the music or video section maybe to watch something that could be educational (although there are other sites that do that already)

I get on everyday via a proxy, and I'm still a straight A+ student.

The stupid students must suffer with only schoolwork! ^.^

But I do agree that it sorta defeats the purpose of school.

you know, proxies are getting blocked by the network admins from schools or offices very fast. Do you really want to keep on asking or searching for working proxies everytime your current proxy has been blocked? Well, I don't think anyone would like to waste this kind of time...

So, check out this one. The proxy belongs to a proxy network called BPN, which updates new proxies every week. You just need to stick to BPN, then you could never worry about the same problem ever again.

Food for thought kids - when you use an "unblocker" site, you are *giving* this site (and its operators) your username and password. Don't be too suprised if you account is highjacked someday.

Do you think that these unblocker/proxy sites are setup by people who feel bad for you? No, they just want an easy way to collect usernames %26amp; passwords from chumps :o)
