Myspace has blocked my account and i can no longer access it...HELP?

Myspace has blocked my account and I am unable to block it because I do not have a valid email address because the email address i had on the account was old. I need to know how I can access my account again. Also I tried with typing in the new password they ask for but no verification codes shows on the screen and they are asking for a verification code. The only thing that shows on the screen is a box with an X. I really need someones help to solve this problem. I really don't want to make a new myspace account I have workded too hard on this one...Thanks for all your help.

if you got locked for being phished in the last hour, it's a bug! we're working on fixing it right now. sorry about that! the mechanism to detect if your account has been phished has been very powerful for stopping phishing, but it went a little haywire just now. things should be back to normal soon! if you're wondering what phishing is, read my blog
