Why did she block it are you doing something that you shouldn't be doing on those websites? Or is it she just doesn't understand what it is that you are doing on there? First of all , even though you will find it hard to believe, your mom is just protecting you. There are preditors online, including myspace and she doesn't want to see you get hurt. You may not understand but she is looking out for you. If you do feel like you are totally innocent , I would suggest that you sit down with her and explain to her what myspace is. Tell her the truth and hopefully the truth is to just keep up with friends. Tell her that you can set your profile to private so online preditiors cannot see it and that keeps you somewhat "safe". Explain to her what you do on there and that you need to be trusted and promise to her that you are not doing stuff you shouldn't be. The internet is very useful for children in school to use for reports and research projects etc. So maybe you might suggest that she sit with you, let her see your page, tell her how you know the people who are your friends on myspace and delete the people who are random people that you don't know personally (this is for your own good, people lie and the "friend" you think you have is really an old perverted man) and let her see how you handle yourself online. She does care about you but many parents only think the worst expecially if she doesn't know much about myspace. This will only work if you are innocent and are not looking at bad things or chatting with total strangers. Good Luck!
